My trip to the UK was primarily to take up an offer from Andre Tempest to take a ride in XL231 during its high speed taxi run at the Elvington Air Show. Visits were also made to Bruntingthorpe, Hendon and  Duxford Air Museums and the Portsmouth Naval Museum.
